Campus Services is committed to sustainability, and we are launching a new initiative to support sustainable shopping!
Beginning in Fall 2021, we encourage customers to "Skip the Bag" in our Campus Dining markets and University Bookstore locations. As an incentive, customers who do so will receive a wooden nickel, which they can then drop in a canister supporting an Appalachian State organization. Each wooden nickel represents a $0.05 contribution to that organization. At the end of each semester, Campus Services will count the nickels and provide the proceeds to the organization.
